2026 Indigenous Governance Conference
Exploring Current Issues facing Indigenous Communities and Businesses
Designed for Indigenous leadership, finance professionals, community administrators, and department managers, the Indigenous Governance Conference explores timely and evolving issues impacting Indigenous communities and businesses. Through keynote presentations, plenary discussions, and focused afternoon breakout sessions on finance, digital transformation, and land claims and title rights, participants will gain practical insights, share knowledge, and strengthen capacity to support informed decision-making, effective governance, and sustainable economic development within communities.
Breakout sessions will be led by Giesbrecht & Company, Humanity Financial, and Cantatus Systems. Additional speakers include RBC, Ascent Employment Law, and Jennifer Hufnagel of Hufnagel Consulting, with more speakers to be announced.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
A refund (less an administrative fee of $75) will only be made if notice of cancellation is received in writing prior to Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (10 business days before the event) to finance@afoabc.org. No refund will be given after this period. Substitute delegates are permitted with advanced notice. Cancellation for unpaid registrations must also be made by this date.

Complimentary 24/7 airport shuttle to/from YVR
The hotel offers a 24/7 complimentary airport shuttle to/from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) every 30 minutes (00:10 and 00:40). Meet the shuttle outside of Departures Level 3 (Domestic and International Terminals). For arrivals between 2 and 4 am, please call 604-273-7878 for pickup.
