Awards

Each year, AFOA BC selects winners for the Band Administrator Award and three Best Practices Awards.

Band Administrator Awards

This award is to give recognition to Band Administrators who have displayed excellence and quality in their work with First Nations communities over a period of time. Applications are submitted to AFOA BC in early June of each year and the winner is awarded at the Summer Conference.

Winner receives the following:

• Conference fees, travel and accommodation to attend the Summer Conference
• Memorable plaque
• $1500.00 certificate to use towards AFOA BC products, conferences or community based workshops
